HOW DID THE GEOGRAPHY AFFECT AFRICA?

• The Sahara desert and deadly heat made development go slow
• But the Sahara desert help them find salt

HOW DID TRADE IMPACTED KINGDOMS

• The Songhai emperor was Muslim so they trade withe the Berber
• They over overtook the emperor because he was not Muslim
• Economically trade made ideas spread .

HOW DID THE MAJOR KINGDOM OF AFRICA DECLINED.

• Ghana: Rebellions took over and the Ghana Empire fell.
• Mali: Musa died and his son took over but couldn't stop invaders.
• Songhai: European explores with early guns destroyed Timbuku
• and cut off the sea routes.
