It's highest peak was in April 18,2009.

They created the vaccine to handle the seasonal flu (H1N1)

A vaccine that is given yearly to prevent another pandemic.
This vaccine helps fight the virus off.

HOW THE PANDEMIC WAS DEALT WITH
The vaccines were limited at first.
By November 2009,48 of the 50 states had reported cases of H1N1
61 million vaccine doses were ready in the same month.
The flu activity began to decline in part of the country.
With the rates so low it gave the medical community more time to prepare more vaccines.
