  • keep within the time limit
  • practice (be familiar with your content)

Conquer last minute anxiety

  • use breathing exercises designed to stop anxiety

  • visualize you succeeding
  • give yourself a pep talk to pump you up

Dress to Impress

  • dress comfortably
  • dress confidently
  • dress professionally

The Audience

  • be aware of age and other demographics
  • tailor your talk for your audience
  • make eye contact with the whole room

Delivery

  • be expressive
  • use vocal variation
  • smile
  • talk loud and clear
  • talk at a good pace ( don't talk too fast)
