the weather conditions in an area in general or over a long period.

Weather vs climate
Climate is weather over a long period of time in a area weather is a shorter period of time.

CLIMATE ZONES

TROPICAL
To live in this climate is would be amazing. Tropical climates are warm but not hot with water and wind.The temperature would be the best part you could wear shorts everyday

Polar
The polar climate zone is cold and filled with mountains and snow the body's of water are usually frozen temperatures can reach below 0 any day this is not a very good vacation location

Arid
The arid climate is dry and very hot it can be over 100 degrees weeks at a time. Also not see rain for months at a time the desert climate is not a very good vacation area.

Temperate
The temperate climate is mild. It can be really hot or very cold. We live in a temperate climate it is a good place for vacation.

Mediterranean
The Mediterranean climate is mild. With hot dry summers and cold wet winters. A good vacation place in the summer.

Mountains
The mountaines climate is filled with mountais. It can be cold but not hot warm weather is often seen in these climates. Not a very good vacation spot unless you like views.

  • Bodes of warter-water affects climate by evaporating into the air
  • Latitude- latitude affects climate by how close they are to the equater
  • Longitude- how far they are from the prime meridean
  • Wind- wind affects climate by blowing dust snow ect. Into the atmosphere
