I is for individuality
Many people in this society are the same, however there are some that are different. Their individuality shows when they make decisions on their own. Like choosing to read. Many in the society have been told that books are bad and there shouldn't be any anymore, however some individuals have chosen to go agains the norm and do what they feel is best.

J is for justice.
Montag and some others in the society want justice to prevail. They have seen that there is something wrong with the way things are and they want to change them. They want life to be happy again and for people to think in their own.

K is for kids.
The kids in this society don't know happiness. They grow up thinking they. Are happy when they really don't know what happiness is. They start school very early so that they don't get corrupted and their parents don't teach them anything society doesn't want them to know.

L is for longing.
The people in this society are longing to feel something. The people in this society are often committing acts of suicide because they don't feel the type of attention they wish to feel. They long for meaning and purpose in their lives.

M is for Montag.
Montag started as a typical person in the society. He was a regular old firman but after he met Clarisse he changed. He began to see the world in a new light. He began to find books interesting and he no longer wanted to burn them. His life had meaning and it no longer consisted of watching meaningless television.

N is for nuisance.
Millie is often seen as a nuisance because she is often times making a nuisance of herself. She is very self-absorbed and thinks of what she can do to make herself happy. Her family is often very loud and she is looking to get another wall of her family to make herself happy.

O is for ordinary
Some of the people in this society are hiding something. There were many people that didn't know their neighbors were not ordinary people and they were actually hiding books. The ordinary people don't know how to change their way of thinking so the "outcasts" in society help them.

P is for pills.
The people in this society are often very depressed. Often times a night the stomach pump is sent out to multiple locations because someone has tried to overdose on pills.
