Annotation Skills

• A note added to a text, book, drawing, etc., as a comment or explanation
• The act of adding notes or comments to something : the act of annotating something

Example 1

• In this picture you see great annotation skills by how the reader sections out the writing and writes good notes on the side that the reader will use to further understand the writing.

Example 2

• Here the reader uses color to annotate the writing which helps the reader understand which parts are important and the reader needs to pay attention to from the parts of the writing that are not that important.
