WHAT IS CLONING?

  • Cloning is the procedure of
  • reproducing similar DNA
  • cells. This is the reason why
  • mothers have twins.

HOW DOES CLONING WORK?

  • In order to clone, the method
  • scientists use the most is somatic
  • cell nuclear transfer. This begins
  • when doctors take the egg from
  • a female donor and remove it's

HOW DOES CLONING WORK?

  • nucleus, which creates a
  • enucleated egg. A cell with
  • DNA gets taken from the person
  • who wants to be cloned. Then
  • the egg and cell get fused together

HOW DOES CLONING WORK?

  • with electricity. This creates
  • an embryo, which gets
  • implanted into the mother.

DISADVANTAGES OF CLONING

  • Cloning always has negative
  • effects. For example, clones
  • will most likely have some form
  • of disease, like skin disease.
  • And trying to clone will mostly

DISADVANTAGES OF CLONING

  • lead in big failure. Cloning
  • rarely works. It even took
  • 276 tries just to clone a
  • sheep!
