  • majority of people are poor
  • while only a few are rich.

What are their fashions, literature, music and art like:

  • -Fashion depends on area but usually
  • people wear something like sombreros, boots and ponchos.
  • -Music is latin music originated from other latin countries
  • for example salsa or tango.
  • -Literature consists of the oral and written literature of Latin America

  • the children's subjects are quite the same than
  • Ours are like math and English.
  • -At home children learn how a family works and
  • For example how to and when to eat.

Is land used for farming, livestock or manufacturing:

  • Depends on what area you are
  • talking about but a lot of land is used
  • for farming in the rural areas but in the
  • Urban areas for manufacturing and livestock.

What kind of goods and services do people exchange:

  • Coffee, vehicles, oil etc.

What items do they change with those outside the region:

  • Coffee, transport equipment,
  • vehicles, cotton, soybeans, corn
  • Oil and oil products, wheat, nickel,
  • Fruits etc.

What are the main minority groups in the region:

  • Native Americans
  • Blacks
  • Asians

How equally are men and women treated:

Usually women are better educated but still underpaid.
