Does the color of ice affect melting time

Hypothesis

• I think that the darker ice will melt faster than the lighter colored ice.
• If ice is dyed with a dark color,
• then it will melt faster than ice dyed with a light color

Procedure

• Fill ice cube maker with water then color the water
• Freeze the water for 3-5 hours then set the tray on the table and watch
• Write down the information I get from it and watch them melt

RESEARCH

• All of my sources said that the darker would melt faster

CONCLUSION

• The darker ice did melt faster then all the lighter colors
• My hypothesis was correct
