  • Oxygen has green hose
  • Acetylene has red hose
  • They also have left/right threads

  • Acetylene 1/2 turn 5-7 psi
  • Oxygen open all the way 15-25 psi

LIGHT THE TORCH

USE A STRIKER, DO NOT USE A LIGHTER/MATCH

  • Be sure the hoses aren't kinked
  • Make sure you will not create sparks in a direction towards the tanks
  • Check your surroundings
  • Pre-heat the metal
  • Check valves
