• They can be used as high-tech alternatives
• They have features that aid in studying
• Cell phones can be recording devices
• Cell phones provide a new medium for interactive lessons

EVIL:

• They pose as a distraction.
• Can be used inappropriately.
• Unequal access.
• Take away from face to face discussions.
• Are they a fad, how do we prepare students for what's next?
