• Michel Angelo was a fresco painter.
• Fresco art is supposed to look 3D.

III. THE NORTHERN RENAISSANCE

• Many artists did art called fresco art.
• Fresco art is done with water based paint to give a 3D look.
• This was influenced by the idea of christian humanism.
• Northern renaissance artists perfected their paintings.
