Andrew Clements is an American author of children's books. Clements grew up in Camden, New Jersey and Springfield, Illinois, United States.
My summary of the school story
Natalie Nelson is a twelve year old girl who is in the sixth grade and she wants to become an author therefore she has decided to write a short story novel called the cheater but her best friend Zoe Reisman wants to publish it now all Natalie has to do is give the draft to her mother so she could give it to an editor who is from a large publishing company but Natalie does not want her mom to do any favors for her thus her friend won't drop the idea
First major event
Perhaps when Natalie Nelson decided to compose a short story novel The Cheater her friend Zoe Reisman thinks that it should be published thus in order to do that she thought that it be best if she used another name which is sherry clutch so she could be her agent she told Natalie she should use another name as well that is Cassandra Day with that being said she asked her mom to speak with the editor to see if it could be published
Explanation of why this event is worthy
The reason of why I chose this event is because since she was in the sixth grade obviously her dream was to become an author in the future so to do that Natalie's friend told her to write every day especially on the weekends if not then she would never become an author
Second major event
When Zoe Reisman was waiting for Natalie at school so she could tell her that help her to accomplish her lifetime goal but she asked her if their teacher would see it
Explanation of why this event is worthy
I chose this particular event because if the girls showed Mrs Clayton the book then Natalie will feel motivated enough to continue to pursue her dream to become a prominent author
Third major event
At the end of the story when Natalie Nelson and Zoe Reisman then Natalie tells her "you know Zoe I want to put this feeling into a book someday
