PRESENTATION OUTLINE

THE THIRD CRUSADE

BY MOHAMMAD AND AMBER

The Third Crusade (1189–1192), also known as the Kings' Crusade, was an attempt by European leaders to reconquer the Holy Land (Jerusalem) from Saladin (Ṣalāḥ ad-Dīn Yūsuf ibn Ayyūb). The battle is called Battle of Hattin and it was in Palestine.

A disadvantage for the Christians is that they had to face Saladin who was the muslim's powerful and smart leader. Another disadvantage is that king Frederick drowned before the battle so his troops went home.

A positive thing for Muslims is that they had Saladin. Another positive for them is that king Frederick's troops left. A positive thing for the crusades is that even though they didn't conquer Jerusalem, they conquered other places.
