PROTEIN

  • large biological molecules consisting of one or more chains of amino acids.
  • Provide energy and structural support

NUCLEIC ACIDS

  • There are two types of nucleic acids; deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA)
  • Ribonucleic acid (RNA)
  • Nucleic acids are composed of long nucleotides linked by dehydration synth.
  • Dehydration synthesis is a chemical reaction that builds up molecules by losing water
  • Three nucleotides : phosphate group , pentode sugar(5-carbon), nitrogen bases.

LIPIDS

  • Lipids are non polar hydrophilic molecules .
  • Consists of Carbon ,hydrogen ,and oxygen.
  • Saturated and unsaturated fats
  • Fat ,waxes ,and oils .

NUCLEIC ACIDS FUNCTION

  • To contain genetic information of an organism

PROTEIN EXAMPLE

  • Fish is protein
  • (CHOO)

CARBOHYDRATES FUNCTION

  • Carbohydrates give you quick energy
