When angry a child's heartbeat raise to 147 bpm.

How does your body feel when your heart is at 147 bpm?

When calm a child's heart should be at 60 bpm.

Once angry a child will exhibit an aggressive act in 45-90 seconds.

What can we do?

Create Classroom calming areas

Teach calm down techniques

  • Breathing
  • Mouth closed
  • Tongue behind teeth
  • Breathe in and out through nose.
  • Count to 4 in and 4 out.
