PRESENTATION OUTLINE
1. If option A is selected then, by using the intersection of the medians, the airport location is found.
2. The airport location is at about (13,12), which is directly between all the towns.
3. Town A is 20.4 miles away from the airport. Town B is 15.1 miles away from the airport. Town C is 16.8 miles away from the airport.
4(a). To build a new road from Town A to the airport, it would cost about $2,550,000.
4(b). To build a new road from Town B to the airport, it would cost $1,887,500.
4(c). To build a road from Town C to the airport, it would cost $2,111,250.
Option A is the best choice because the new roads are the only thing that is needed to be payed for. So, it will be less expensive to make the airport equidistant from the three towns.
