BODY SYSTEMS SCENARIO

BY: ARSHVEER, NOEL, CRISTAIN

SCENARIO

  • A Woman is in Labor Delivering Twins.

RESPIRATORY

  • Major organs:
  • Nasal Cavity,Nostril, Lungs
  • It is responsible for bringing in oxygen,
  • in your body.
  • Its also responsible for taking away carbon dioxide.

RESPIRATORY

  • It works with Circulatory to transport,
  • oxygen around the body.
  • Respiratory brings in oxygen(breathe in).
  • Circulatory takes it and transports it around the body.
  • It brings back carbon dioxide which Respiratory takes away(breathe out).

CIRCULATORY

  • Major organs:
  • Heart,Veins, Arteries, Capillaries,
  • Red Blood Cells.
  • It is responsible for taking needed things around the body.
  • It transports oxygen and blood around the body and back.

CIRCULATORY

  • Works with Respiratory to transport oxygen around the body.
  • Also it transports waste for removal.
  • Circulatory uses veins to bring back blood,
  • And arteries to bring blood to the body.
  • The heart makes sure the blood pressure doesn't go wrong.

NERVOUS

  • Major organs:
  • Brain, Spinal Cord, Hypothalamus, Nerves.
  • It is responsible for regulating all the body systems and the body.
  • It is a big part of keeping homeostasis.
  • Works with all systems and acts like a nucleus to a cell.

NERVOUS

  • Works with Muscular System to tell it to contract.
  • When it contracts the babies are pushed out.
  • Nervous System sends information by nerves to the,
  • Muscular system and then it contracts.

NERVOUS

  • Works with Respiratory to tell it how much oxygen,
  • is needed.
  • Nervous tells the Respiratory system more oxygen is needed,
  • and then the breathing rate increases causing faster oxygen intake.

NERVOUS

  • Works with Circulatory to tell it whats needed and how much.
  • Nervous system receives information on needed things around the body.
  • It sends information to the Circulatory system which transports the,
  • needed things around the body.

MUSCULAR

  • Major organs:
  • Cardiac Muscle, Uterine Smooth Muscle, Skeletal Muscle, Tendons.
  • Contracts to allow movement. Protects the body.

MUSCULAR

  • Works with Nervous to contract so babies,
  • can come out.
  • Nervous sends information which the Muscular system,
  • receives and then it contracts.
  • The muscle that contracts is Uterine Smooth Muscle.

MUSCULAR

  • Works with Respiratory to help breathe.
  • Muscular system contracts allowing the Respiratory system,
  • to bring in oxygen and take away carbon dioxide.

HOW BODY WORKS

  • The body works by using these systems.
  • The nervous system makes sure nothing goes wrong.
  • The respiratory system brings in oxygen and regulates it.
  • The circulatory system transports needed things so,
  • nothing in the body has a lack of anything.

HOW BODY WORKS

  • The muscular system contracts allowing the birth to happen.
  • All these systems work together to make the body,
  • Function correctly during the event.
