Allegory Definition:

An Allegory is the deeper meaning behind what is being told, this is often used by displaying symbols through people, things, etc...in a poem, story, and/or a piece of art.

SUMMARY


In the beginning of the short, "The Tortoise and the Hare", the tortoise is quiet and friendly to everyone, where as the hare is very rude towards the tortoise and also likes to do things spending as little time as possible. The hare continuously bullies the turtle because of his speed and challenges him to a race. On the day of the race, many animals from all over came to support their friends. The hare knew his own speed and believed that it was impossible for the tortoise to win. Thinking this was such an easy race, the hare took many breaks and didn't take it seriously.
