Japan is kind of strange country, Japanese goes to shrine(Shinto) on new year day, and funerals are at temple(Buddhism), and celebrating Christmas(Christianity).
There are a lot more strange things in Japan.

In addition, there are a lot of people who don't believe any religion.
I think this is one of the funniest thing about Japan.

Japan is island, so they made up individual culture.
But about 200, they contacted with China or Korea, and import their culture.

Japan has more than 2000 letters.
We have hiragana(ひらがな), katakana(カタカナ), and kanji (漢字).
They import kanji from China, so we can understand some kanji's mean in China.

Haiku(俳句) is old Japanese song.
We use 17 sounds-first line is made by 5 sounds, second line is 7 sounds, and third line is 5 sounds.

We have Tanka(短歌) too, and Tanka use 31 sounds.
We have 100 famous song, and we use these songs as card.

Japanese love to enjoy seasons, so they made a lot of season's song.
And they also loved love songs.

We have four seasons, and they are so beautiful.

Since long time ago, we enjoying the seasons.

Yukata is Japanese traditional cloth.
We sometimes wear this on the summer festival.
Girls love wearing this.

Japanese food is famous as healthy food.
We eat rice a lot, and we use seasoning made from soybeans.

We drink a lot of tea.
Japan has many kind of tea.
