FIRST READING Tobit 8:5-7 We choose Tobit because we believe this scripture is about friendship and working together as one unit. Those values are what we hold as important in our relationship.
SECOND READING Colossians 3:12-17 We choose this scripture because we believe that forgiveness is an important part in all relationships. We believe in working through our problems like the scripture says.
GOSPEL Matthew 19:3-6 This Gospel says that a marriage can not be broken by any circumstances. Marriages go throw hard times and easy times. The couple needs to work together to stay together.
AIMEE'S VOWS I vow to maintain our friendship despite going to seperate schools next year. I vow to encourage and always be there for you through the good times and the bad. I promise to try my best to help lift you up whenever you are feeling down. I promise to be a true friend and be there for you until the end.
SAMANTHA'S VOWS I vow to commit myself fully to our friendship. I promise to always be available if you need someone to talk to. I vow to try to stay in contact because we are going to separate colleges. I promise to always be funny so I can make you laugh, even though everybody thinks we are crazy. I vow to support you through all the changes we have in store for our friendship.
PARENTAL SITUATIONS We discovered that we had very similar parenting stlyes. We both would rather talk to our children. We would only discipline them if they do something really bad (like coming home drunk.) We like to torture them by giving them really long lectures.
