• Because of industrialization USA had better weapons and resources.
• Key battle were the battle Sal Alto, Battle of Sacramento, and Battle of Chapultapec

NATIVE AMERICANANS

• The Indian removal act forced natives to move west of the Mississippi.
• This ended in the trail of tears in which thousands of people died.
