I is for intelligence
Ponyboy is intelligent. He's smart, smarter than almost all greasers. He is in smarter classes with some socs... Makes him an outsider from the other greasers.

J is for Johnny
Johnny is a greaser. He wan beat up really bad by socs. The gang treats him differently because of that and also because his parents abuse him, he usually doesn't go home.

K is for kids
When Johnny and ponyboy left the church with Dally they came back to it on fire. Children had been trapped in because a class was up there. Johnny and ponyboy and dally went inside and saved the kids and become heros in the newspaper.

L is for love
It takes ponyboy awhile realizes that Danny really does love and care about him.

M is for miserable
When johnny and Ponyboy are alone outside when ponyboy had ran away, and they see the blue mustang pull up and see the guy with a bunch of rings on his hand get out. They realize it's the socs that beat up Johnny. And they feel mentally miserable?

N is for notorious
Meaning someone has a bad rep. That is why Johnny and ponyboy didn't got to the police about bob being dead because they are greasers, and would get worse consequences.

O is for outsider
An outsider is someone who doesn't feel as if they don't fit in, or does not fit in. For example, ponyboy. He doesn't like everything the greasers like he actually likes more thing socs like. He doesn't do things as the greasers do like fighting.

P is for ponyboy
Ponyboy is a greaser, loves to read, he's smart, great at track, watches movies, but doesn't really like to fight. He feels if he's a outsider.

Q is for quiet
Johnny was quiet, and shyer than everyone else in the gang. He has abusive parents and had been jumped badly by socs. The gang treats him different from everyone else. He's the kicked puppy in the gang.
