Grant as president
With reading two different articles, Grant was seen as a popular general after the civil war. His time in office was filled with scandals but even with those scandals, grant pushed through hardship and pushed the 15th amendment so thAt black men could vote. (Miller center), (US history).Grant is looked down upon by others but in my own opinion he was a great leader on the field in battle, and also as a president of the United States.
