Climate types
Tunisia's climate is generally mild; the average temperatures range from 52 to 13 degrees In the winter (December-February) to about 80 to 26 degrees in the summer (June-August) . Towards the deserts temperatures are much hotter ,especially in the south wind.

Dress/clothing
In Tunisia fashion is influenced by Western Europe, basically Italy and France. Men usually wear casual clothes like jeans , T-shirts & athletic shoes . While women wear traditional white or cream safsari, white in public. Some younger women like to wear short skirts that at least cover their knees.

Economy
Agriculture plays a key role in Tunisia's economy. Agriculture is really important in the interior and along the Sahel coasts, many agriculture products include olive oil, grain , dairy products , tomatoes, beef and almonds. The economic growth has generally been high. Tunisia has a well-educated workforce, but high unemployment is a major problem.

Family
Tunisia's families consist of a father , mother , children , and other relatives such as aunts , uncles , cousins may live in the same household or nearby. The grandparents often form strong ties with their grand children. Parents usually support their kids until their independent/ or can take care of their selves on their own. Both women and men serve outside their homes for support of their children.

Government
Tunisia has a republican government that's divided. The president is head of the state , while the prime minister is head of the government. The 217 members of the unicameral assembly are elected to five-year terms. The new constitution was improved in 2014 , its a protection of women's rights and you must be 18 or older to vote.

History
Tunisia was a major battleground during World War II, before the war many Tunisians had pressed for independence from France. Their independence was finally secured peacefully in 1956.

Industry
Important industries would include flour milling , fish , fruit , and vegetable canning. Mechanical and electrical equipment is also an important industry. As one of the worlds largest sources of phosphate.

Jobs
Most Tunisians work in restaurants, boutiques and malls. The women often work on breeding sheep , making pottery and sewing , on the other hand men work on being sales managers , construction managers or technical trainers.

Education is very important in tunisia's development since independence. In the primary schools subjects like science, history, geography, religion and literature is taught.

The Tunisian dinar is the official currency of Tunisia and is subdivided into 1000 milim or millimimes. The abbreviation dt is often used in Tunisia. Their located at the central bank of Tunisia.

Arabic is tunisias official language , French is used in business and daily life. Many high school students or graduates understand English.

National pride
The red and white flag of Tunisia was adopted as national flag in 1959. The star and crescent recalls their history with the Ottoman Empire. The humat al-hima is the title of their national anthem, that defends their homeland and some holidays that are celebrated would be New Years, women's day, labour day, new era day and martyrs day.

Tunisia's population was about 10.89 million since 2013 , but is increasing each year.

Tunis has been classified as the 104th out of 140 cities, among the least live able cities in the world.

Religion
About 95% of Tunisians are Muslim , but a small number of ibadhi Muslims still exist among the Berber speakers of jerba island.
