SCIENCE CHAPTER 3

Chemical properties!
Chemical property is a property in matter that descirbes a substances ability to change chemically. It has the ability to change into more substances or when it burns to become a new substance with different properties. To tell if this is occurring is to see fizzing, change color, release or absorb heat, change of odor, and sound or light

Physical property!
Physical property is very easy to observe and measure without it changing easily. It can also be changed into shapes for any certain type of objects. Just like ice. It was originally water so it physical changed into ice with a cold source. But also ice can become water again with the opposite source?

DENSITY!
Density is the amount of matter in a given space or volume. Density is very useful in physical change. Like to know if a object will float in water. Well what is the density of the object and water. For the object to float the density has to be lower than 1 because water is always going to be 1.

To measure matter!
There are ways to measure matter in different ways. Like the graduated cyclinder. You use that to measure the volume of matter. If it's a solid you use a ruler.

Mass!
Mass is the measurement of matter in a object. Like you use a scale to measure. The units are grams kilogram.

Weight!
In weight you measure the gravitational force that is exerted from a object. So you can measure if it is heavy or very light. You can also use a scale or other devices. Weight is a unit in Newton. Weight is mostly used in the USA. But in other countries or continents. They use the metric system.
