When I looked into the spoon,I saw my reflection.Reflection is when light bounces off a object.
When you place a straw in water and look at it eye level,it will look broken and maybe bent.This is called refraction,light bent when it passed through water causing it to look like this.
This glue stick in the picture is opaque,which means no light passes through. So if I got a flash light and put it up to the glue stick ,no light will pass through because it is opaque.
This piece of tissue paper is translucent,which means some light can travel or go through the paper.
This piece of plastic is transparent,which means all light can travel through it.
