  • She was born March 10, 1913 in Maryland
  • Her parents were Harriet Green and Ben Ross
  • She had 8 siblings
  • Harriet was poor
In fact, she had a very difficult childhood. She was beat and worked night and day for years until she escaped.We will get to that later.
