Character development

Mr. MacPherson

Duddy Kravitz

Now onto Duddy Kravitz, he is a 15 year old boy with a small, narrow-chested frame who likes to cause trouble. We are first introduced to him when Mr. Mac catches him smoking with his group of friends during school hours. He most likely smokes to be noticed. Duddy enjoys telling stories and pulling pranks to grab peoples attention. His true character is showcased when he ridicules Mr. MacPherson in front of the whole class by calling him a coward for not strapping him. This shows that he has a lot of nerve and doesn't have respect for authority figures. You could say he is an iconoclast.
