There was a time in the U.S that all american woman citizens didn't have the same rights as men, including the right to vote. All of the women in the U.S. came together to fight for their rights to vote.

After 70 long hard years of battle....
On August 18, 1920, the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution allow american women the right to vote. The women won the victory with the passage of 19th Amendment.
Amendment 19 of the U.S. Constitution states, "The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex."
"Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation."
Waters vs. Randolph
On October 12, 1920, Cecilia Waters and Mary Randolph, citizens of Maryland applied granted registration were women, whereas the Constitution of Maryland to limits the suffrage to men
Susan B. Anthony was apart of the women's rights movement. She was one of the reasons why the 19th Amendment was in the U.S. Constitution.
Thanks to Susan B. Anthony and the women's suffrage, we can finally vote!
