  • You can tell if a huckleberry is ripe because it turns a dark blueish purpleish blackish color

There are many different ways to eat huckleberries. You can eat them raw or cooked. You can cook them in pancakes, brownies, and so much more! One of my favorite things is a huckleberry milkshake. They are delicious!
