What is the history of my tradition?
Once there was a demon king called Narakasura.Somehow he was the ruler of heaven and earth because he had great powers.He was a bad and cruel ruler.Lord Vishnu could not mercy Narakasura when he had captured some woman from a village,so Lord Vishnu went to his place and killed Narakasura and freed the women the day before Deepavali.To celebrate the good over evil, everyone lit their house with oil lamps to celebrate victory.
