Intro

Why I Think The Patriots Were Right!
I think the Patriots were right in the events leading to the American Revolution, because they never gave up, unlike the loyalist. They also had each others backs during the war and they still do!

The Patriots

  • The Sneaky taxes
  • A Secret Attack On The Americans
  • The Cruel loyalists
  • Conclusion

The Sneaky Taxes

The Stamp Act

By King George
Sneaky Taxes: The Patriots were being taxed in many unusual ways like they were getting taxed on paper like cards, newspaper, license, diploma, will, and deed because every single paper had to have a British stamp or else the person who owned the paper had to go to jail. And the stamp cost a lot of money back then.

The Navigation Act

Sneaky Taxes: The Patriots were being taxed in many unusual ways. Another sneaky tax was the Navigation Act. The Navigation act was that they would have to buy all of their needing in Britain, even if it was cheaper in another country.

A Secret Attack On The Americans!

A Secret attack on the Americans: One day in Boston there were two British spies and they were looking for guns, because they thought that the colonists had guns but they didn’t see any, but they really did have them. They were also looking for two important leaders of the Sons of liberty. Finally after they were done looking they couldn’t find them when they came back to Britain and they didn’t find them so then they planned a secret attack on the Americans, but the Americans knew and they got ready for them when they came they secretly hid.

The Cruel Loyalists

Plus King George
The Cruel Loyalists: It was a dark, cold, and snowy night. A soldier was guarding the Customs house. All the sudden a boy came and began shouting mean things at him. The Guard sprinted out of his position and hit the boy with his musket. The boy went crying home. But 5 minutes later he came back with friends. They threw snowballs at him and screaming “ Lousy rascal! Bloody-back!” A huge crowd began gathering. That is how cruel the loyalist was.
