HERE ARE FEW INTERESTING INSTRUMENTS USED BY ANCIENT ROMANS

TUBA

  • Long and Straight
  • About Four Feet in length
  • Used mostly around 500 B.C.
  • The Roman Tuba was used for military purposes in Ancient Rome

PANPIPE

  • Easy to carry around
  • Part of neolithic age
  • The Neolithic age was the New Stone Age
  • The Neolithic age was around 12,000 years ago
  • Panpipes are still used today

ROMAN CORNU

  • about 3 m (9.8 ft) long in the shape of the letter G
  • The Roman armies originally used the Cornu for communicating orders during war
  • 2 found in the ruins of pompeii
  • Looks like todays French Horn in a way
