CHAPTER 9
- Its the evening and theres a huge storm.
- Simon wakes up from the storm and begins to climb the mountain.
- He is exhausted and is staggering as he climbs.
- Simon sees the "beast" and realizes that its just a parachutist.
- He untangles the cords and heads down the mountain to tell the others.

- Meanwhile,Ralph and Piggy go to Jacks feast.
- Jack acts like a savage chief at the feast.
- His face is painted and wears a crown of leaves.
- He commands the other boys to obey him
- Then ralph and jack gets into an argument about the conch

- It starts to pour down rain and simon comes out the woods
- While he is trying to explain, jack thinks he is the beast
- Jacks group form a chanting circle around simon
- "Kill the beast, cut his throat" jack said
- They beat and claw him to death; his body washes to the sea

CHAPTER 10
- The next morning, everyone except Ralph and piggy are gone.
- The rest have joined Jacks tribe , they move to Castle rock
- He orders his savages to gaurd and kill anyone who comes near
- He thinks the "beast" is not dead cause its impossible to kill it
- They plan to go hunting and to raid ralphs group

- The fire is running out and need it for the whole day
- Jacks group attacks everyone in their sleep
- Ralph and Eric beats eachother up
- piggy goes and protects the Conch
