On page 595 it said can't we just buy some rainforest, and on page 597, they were coming up with funny ideas to help raise money. This is entertainment because the ideas were funny and you can not really buy a rainforest, but you can go to a rainforest.
Authors Purpose: Persuade
On page 599 it is wanting you to help keep the rainforest safe and on page 597 they are making ways to help rainforest. This is persuasion because it wants you to help keep the rainforest safe.
Authors Purpose: Inform
On page 601 it says that they have done multi dollar effort to protect the rainforest, and on page 605 it says that they have save a bunch of rainforest. This is informative because it is telling you facts, not opinions.
