CULTURE

  • the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively.
  • The different "Cultures" can determine where someone originated from.

ANIMISM

  • the worldview that natural physical entities—including animals, plants, and often even inanimate objects or phenomena—possess a spiritual essence
  • animism" is said to describe the most common, foundational thread of indigenous peoples' "spiritual" or "supernatural" perspectives.

HINDUISM

  • the dominant religion[1][2] of the Indian subcontinent, particularly of India and Nepal.
  • "Hinduism"consists of many diverse traditions.

BUDDHISM

  • A religion indigenous to the Indian subcontinent that encompasses a variety of traditions, beliefs and practices largely based on teachings attributed to Siddhartha Gautama, who is commonly known as the Buddha, meaning "the awakened one".
  • "Buddhism"remains popular in Asia and India.

JUDAISM

  • 3] is the religion, philosophy and way of life of the Jewish people.
  • My friend, which is a Jew, believes in "Judaism".

CHRISTIANITY

  • The belief of Jesus and God.
  • I believe in "Christianity".

ISLAM

  • is a monotheistic and Abrahamic religion articulated by the Qur'an, a book considered by its adherents to be the verbatim word of God
  • Most Muslims are considered to be "Islam"or believe in Islamic cultures.

SIKHISM

  • is a monotheistic religion founded during the 15th century in the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent, by Guru Nanak[3] and continued to progress through the ten successive Sikh gurus .
  • "Sikhism" is the fifth largest religion in the world.

URBAN

  • is characterized by higher population density and vast human features in comparison to the areas surrounding it.
  • An example of an "Urban" place are cities and towns.

RURAL

  • is a geographic area that is located outside cities and towns.
  • An example of a "Rural" area are farms and land outside of cities.

MULTICULTURAL

  • Relates to communities containing multiple cultures.
  • An example of "Multiculturalism" could be towns with different cultured people.

GENDER ROLES

  • is a set of social and behavioral norms that are generally considered appropriate for either a man or a woman in a social or interpersonal relationship.
  • In "Gender Roles", the man could work on archetecture, while the woman could work on sewing and clothe making.

SOCIAL CLASS

  • A set of concepts in the social sciences and political theory centered on models of social stratification in which people are grouped into a set of hierarchical social categories,[1] the most common being the upper, middle, and lower classes.
  • An example of "Social Class" could be a Working class.

SOCIAL MOBILITY

  • The movement of individuals or groups in social standing social position.It may refer to classes, ethnic groups, or entire nations, and may measure health status, literacy, or education — but more commonly it refers to individuals or families, and their change in income.
  • An example of "Social Mobility" could be compared to people that richer to people that are poor or less wealthy.
