  • From current estimates are that between 75 million and 200 million died

  • The tearm black death is recent
  • During the plague it was called the great morality
  • It was also called the prestilence

HOW IT SPREAD

  • Because europeans traded in the east they were aware of the disease
  • It swept through asia in the 1330's from central asia
  • The disease moved along the trade route passing through turkestan and the black sea region
