What is a civil litigator?

  • Civil Litigators are lawyers who handle disputes between companies or indivisuals
  • Most Civil Litigators handle Lawsuits
  • They are also called Litigation Attorneys, Litigation Lawyers or Civil Lawyers

School needed

  • BACHELOR'S DEGREE (4 years )
  • Three years of Law School
  • College major not required
  • Classes that would be helpful to take; English, History, Political Science, Mathematics and Goverment
  • Have to pass a state written bar assesment

Work attire/work enviroment

  • Civil Litigators usually dress in Business Formal attire such as pencil skirts and blazers for women and suits and ties for men
  • Civil Litigators mostly work in law offices and when presenting cases, in court
  • Sometimes they go to meet with thier clients at places
  • A Lot work long shifts and full time

SAlary

  • Most Civil Litigators make between 50,000 to 250,000 a year
  • The average amount is around 105,000-120,000 a year
