The Basal Ganglia controls cognition, movement coordination, and voluntary movements.

What would happen if you didn't have it:

Problems with speech, movement and posture. Have trouble starting, stooping, or sustaining movements.

What would happen if it was under developed:

Underdeveloped cerebellum problems (not being able to focus on the movement) and delayed reactions

What would happen if it was over developed:

Can result in ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) and Autism
