The leaves well fall because leaves produce sweat like humans
The leaves dry up and lose strengh so they fall
They do it in Autumn because its hot and not cooling down as much

So yes our hypothesis was correct. Our question was answered correctly, when they get to much light they break off the branch and fall on the ground,then you get to clean it up.
