A bone cancer affecting the leg bones that originates from osteoblasts, which is the cells that make bony tissue. Occurs most often in children, teens and adults both men and women.

• The etiology of this CA is unclear.
• Runs in the family

S/S

• Pain in affected bone
• Swelling
• Increase pain with movement

TREATMENT

• Surgery
• Chemotherapy
• Radiation therapy
• Amputation with prothesis
