DONT RESPOND TO A CYBER BULLY

• The bullies want you to get mad and angry!
• Stand up for yourself if someone is bulling you!
• Make the bully mad from you not responding

SAVE THE EVIDENCE

• Save the evidence if someone is harassing you
• Save the evidence so you can go and tell an adult or someone you trust

BE A FRIEND NOT A BYSTANDER

• Don't watch your friend get bullied, stand up to the bully
• Always do something if someone is getting bullied

BLOCK THE BULLY

• Block the user so the bully can't reach you
• If you don't even see or respond to their texts they will get mad and bored and they will stop

DON'T RETALIATE

• Getting back at the bully turns you into!
• Getting back at the bully could reinforce the bully's behavior
• Help avoid a whole cycle of aggression!

REACH OUT FOR HELP

• You deserve backup
• They are all kinds of backup

USE REPORTING TOOLS

• The social network may have "social abuse-reporting" tools

BE CIVIL

• Even if you don't like a person, it's always good to still be nice

DONT BE A BULLY

• Think about how so one feels
• Try to think about what they might be going through
• They might need you to help them!
