SIGHT

EYESIGHT

• Light goes through the lens
• Light goes through the purple fluid
• Light is reflected onto the retina.
• The rods and cones recieve the light.
• The optic nerve transfers the image to the brain.

DISEASES

• Glaucoma- diseases that destroy th optic nerve
• Color blindness- inability to see certain colors.
• Pink eye- conjunctivitis- inflamation of the membrane of the eye.
• Cataracts- cloudy film over the cover of the eyelids.
• Cataracts can be treated with lazer eye surgery.

HEARING

Sound is heard when vibrations go through the ear and vibrate various bones in the ear. The eardrum picks up this and sends it to the brain.
