There are two types of electricity:

  • Static
  • Current

Static

  • It's just a simple build up of electrons.
  • Friction is causes some objects to become negatively charged
  • Objects will stay in place until it jumps to another object
  • Static is usually harmless unless it's' lightening (it's very DANGEROUS)

-a steady flow of electrons between two objects
-only works on a close circuit-electrons are forced to stay on the same path
-this type of electricity gives power to your house
