PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Self Portrait Project

By Jordan McDonald

INTJ

Meyers-Briggs Personality Test

(I) Introverted

  • I thoroughly enjoy time alone, and find it quite peaceful
  • I prefer small, close-knit groups of people over large groups seeing as though I often find them overwhelming
  • I really enjoy spending one-on-one time with friends and find that I communicate better this way

(N) Intuitive

  • I enjoy writing poetry and short stories, I find languages very interesting because I like learning new ways to describe things
  • I spend a lot of time planning, thinking about the future, and wondering about the many possibilities that exist in life (this can be both good and bad)
  • I enjoy participating in activities where I have room to express myself as I see fit

(T) Thinking

  • I am very logical and pragmatic in most of my decision making, this is most helpful in school settings but can complicate other aspects of socialization
  • I have a strong sense of justice and try to advocate for the things I feel strongly about
  • I'm good at arguing and debating topics, particularly if I am confident in my stance

(J) Judging

  • I put a lot of effort into preparation and planning
  • I like to solve problems; many of my friends refer to me as their "therapist"
  • I hate breaking the rules unless they somehow conflict with my personal values or views

Reflection:
Overall, I strongly agreed with the results of this test and found it to be a rather accurate assessment of my personality. I learned a lot about my strengths and weakness and how to make the best of what makes me different. I also thought it was kind of cool that as a female with a INTJ personality, I make up only 0.8% of the population.
