Two brothers follow their father's footsteps as hunters fighting evil, supernatural beings of many kinds including monsters, demons, and gods that roam the earth.

MAN vs. MAN: One character in the story has a problem with one or more of the other characters.

Ex: Dean and Cole get in a fight.

MAN vs. SOCIETY: A character has a conflict or problem with some element of society.

Ex: Castiel decides to follow his morals rather than follow orders.

MAN vs. NATURE: A character has a problem with some natural happening.

Ex: A rainstorm causes the Winchesters to get in a car crash.

MAN vs. HIMSELF: A character has trouble deciding what to do in a particular situation.

Ex: Sam refuses to kill jack because jack hasn't killed yet. (Hint; jack ends up killing)

MAN vs. FATE: A character has to battle what seems to be an uncontrollable problem.

Ex: the winchesters deal with the apocalypse beginning.

Man vs. Technology: a character has a problem with machines or new technology.

Ex: castiel's cell phone dies.

Man vs. Supernatural: a protagonist has a conflict with a supernatural force.

Ex: A djinn kidnaps dean.
