Conciliation

Third party defines both arguments, points out differences to be resolved

Principal allows music in cafeteria during lunch. A conflict arises over which type of music to play. One group wants rap, and the other wants EDM. Reps from each group agree to resolve their differences by coming up with a fair compromise.

A fight breaks out between two Grade 10 students over a rumour about one of them. The two students refuse to speak to each other and begin to form rival groups. The principal assigns a senior student to help them resolve the conflict.

A student loses their phone in the washroom. A second student finds the watch, repairs it, and begins using it at school. The first student figures this out and wants his phone back. The principal talks to both in his office, listens to both sides, and decides to whom the phone belongs.
