  • What happened was they put a tax on sugar.

When Did it Happen and where

  • It happened in 1764
  • Where it happened was near the american coast.

Cause of the Event

  • Colonists got mad because British put a tax on sugar.
  • Colonists did not think that was fair.

EFFECT OF THE EVENT

  • Colonist protested against the British
  • They had to repeal the Sugar Act
