America starts fixing some problems!

Teenage America

America is kind of like a teenager. She is starting to see things in terms of right and wrong. She realizes there is a lot of good happening (Industrial Revolution) but also realizes there are some things that need to change. Thus the reform movements are born out of a desire for change spurred from the Second Great Awakening.
